ALT INDEX 14th February 2025 – Alternative / Indie Rock duo from Fort Collins Colorado: Carraway, released”Milemarker” across digital music platforms via Alt Index Records on February fourteenth, 2025. This marks the band’s third official single and the first supporting their debut album “The Long Ride Home” expected to be released via Alt Index Records on May 23rd, 2025.
“Milemarker” combines a number of Carraway’s musical influences, drawing from electronic music, hip-hop, classical, and modern rock. The lyrics explore feelings of existentialism and isolation experienced by neurodivergent people in a neurotypical society. The poetic lyricism develops throughout the song with several returning motifs.

Carraway is:
Vocalist Nick Amberg and Mara Byrd’s hometown of Fort Collins, Colorado undeniably influenced Carraway’s modern and eclectic sound bringing in a wide variety of musical influences. Since Carraway’s formation, the duo has performed their unique, punchy, and energetic live show to hundreds across the Western United States. With Carraway debuting their first full-length album “The Long Ride Home” in May of 2025 the band has been on an endless road trip to perform anywhere they can get a stage.
